This Privacy Policy explains how Acceleread (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you use the Acceleread mobile app and website (the “Service”). We built Acceleread to help you read faster, and we aim to collect only what we need to do that.
Information we collect
- Account information — if you create an account, information such as your email address or the identifier from your sign-in provider (e.g. Apple or Google).
- Training & usage data — your reading-speed results, comprehension scores, drills completed, streaks and progress, so the app can personalize your plan and show your improvement.
- Device & technical data — device type, operating system, app version, language, and basic analytics events used to keep the Service working and improve it.
- Purchases — if you subscribe, purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but not your full payment-card details.
How we use information
- To provide and personalize your training and track your progress.
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Service.
- To understand aggregate usage through analytics.
- To respond to support requests and communicate important updates.
- To comply with legal obligations.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run the Service, including:
- Google Firebase / Google Analytics — app infrastructure and analytics.
- Apple App Store and Google Play — app distribution and subscription processing.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter only as required for legitimate business or legal purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@accelereadapp.com. You can also delete your account from within the app.
Children
Acceleread is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
International users
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “last updated” date above.
